In questi giorni sono stata un po' inglobata dalla pigrizia e dalla voglia selvaggia di poltrire.
Sono certa che in tutto questo il caldo è uno dei complici.

Ma ho recuperato Supernatural che avevo inspiegabilmente abbandonato alla seconda stagione.

E ho voluto riprenderlo soprattutto per sviluppare meglio la mia storia per il progetto editoriale di quest'anno.
Arrr non vedo l'ora di iniziare.

Visto che non ho fatto moltissimo, vi beccate la mia sperimentazione con Mangastudio e la colorazione coi colori complementari con fotosciopp

Trovo Mangastudio un programma stupendo che ti supervelocizza la vita. Il disegno l'ho fatto veramente in pochissimo, la colorazione mi  ha preso un po' di più, è davvero difficile colorare in questo modo ;_; cioè scegliere le tonalità giuste di complementare.
Però alla fine il risultato mi piace e basta c:

The color part was hard...but I hope I'll learn to choose the right tones...

Ci sono stata già due volte e quindi già la amo, ma era da un bel po' che volevo andarci soprattutto per
Mais, Rice e Feit che si sono trasferite lì e volevo andarle a trovare!
Andrò con Harù che visiterà per la prima volta la città c: yayyy sono ansiosa dall'eccitazione!!

I've been there twice yet, and I love this city. But I wanted to go there cuz my friends Mais, Rice and Feit moved in London like two years ago...finally I can visit them!!
I'll go with Harù and I'm so exciited!!! Omg I'm axious. 

Tornerò e subito avrò la prima lezione a scuola...quindi spero cmq di riuscire a postare con una certa frequenza lo stesso pff A_A

Dopo un bel po' di tempo, ho rimesso mano all'inchiostro e al pennello, e ai cari acquerelly. Quest'illustrazione era nella mia lista da cento mesi, e finalmente l'ho usata per riprendere confidenza con i vari pennelly!
E visto che mi sono divertita, condivido il work in progress, anche se non è chissà che, perchè le immagini non sono scanzioni ma foto dal cellulare pff...

Sto parlando di The Fall. Un film scoperto per caso su tumblr, che è sempre un pozzo di meraviglie.

I'm talking about The Fall. I discovered this movie on tumblr, which is always a source of wonders.

Innamorata SUBITO di alcuni frame riesco a reperirlo nel giro di minuti e me ne innamoro definitivamente con le lagrime.
Ho anche realizzato che Lee Pace è diventato uno dei miei attori preferiti, apparte che è bono e dotato di meravigliose e grandi sopracciglia, è un attore superlativo. E' Ned di Pushing Daisies , serie diventata una delle mie super preferite, e sarà il padre di Legolas nel Lo Hobbit!!! Cioè. Ho detto tutto.

* I fell in love from a few frames, and immediately I watched it. It ended with my tear, a lot of tears and love.

And I realized that Lee Pace is one of my favourite actors, he's beautiful 

and endowed with big and awesome eyebrows,he's a really great actor. 

He's Ned the piemaker in Pushing Daisies, that is one of my super favourite tv series,

and he will be the Legolas father in The Hobbit!!! I told you everything.

Comunque. Ho amato questo film alla follia, non dico altro.
Vi consiglio di vederlo. Apparte la storia trista ( che a Chiara piace ) , ha la fotografia migliore che io abbia mai visto. Una regia straordinaria e delle scenografie da mascella a terra.

Non potuto resistere a fare qualche schizzo...anche se sono bruttiny ve li metto, dai.

*Btw I loved this movie, really. So watch it! It has the most beautiful photography I ever seen, an amazing direction and astonishing sets.

I made of course some sketches...even if they're crap here we are.

Ecco che arriva il capitolo Etnacomics!! 
Fiera del fumetto siciliana, che si tiene a Catania, che al solo suo secondo anno è U A O.

I went to Etnacomics, a local comicon ( in Catania, Sicily,Italy pff)... 


Purtroppo quest'anno non ho avuto l'opportunità di esserci tutti i giorni, ma anche essendoci stata solo per la domenica, l'ultimo giorno, ho potuto godere della bellezza della fiera!
Ricca di roba bellissima, ospiti incredibili e veramente tanta gente!
E' stata una gita carina (tourdeforce) in compagnia di Harù, Valeria, Roberta e Bea!
* This year I couldn't stay there for all days, but in one day I enjoyed this wonderful fair.
There were a lot of awesome stuff, really special guest and so many people!
It was a really nice short trip (tour de force) with Harù, Valeria, Roberta e Bea!


Non ho potuto sentire Cristina D'Avena in concerto ;_____; e non ho potuto far visionare il mio portfolio, ma in compenso ho rincontrato Barbara Canepa, visto di sfuggita David Lloyd  (V per Vendetta) e soprattutto ho comprato fumetty stupendi, in sconto, con tanta felicità nel core.
* I couldn't stay for Cristina D'Avena live (italian cartoon theme singer that I love) ;_______; and I couldn't show my portfolio...but on the other hand I met again Barbara Canepa, I saw David Lloyd  (V for Vendetta) and I bought wonderful comic books in sale. So much happines in the heart.

Apparte depressitudine innata anche quando vorrei non ci fosse, è stato bello!
Finalmente una fiera SERIA anche in Sicilia. Evvivissima.
* I was a little sad for some reasons...damn me. But it's was really nice!!
Finally a serious comicon also in Sicily. Super yay.

Yeee ho la patenteeeyyy!!!

Si, ci ho messo tipo un anno.
E ho tipo fatto la firma più brutta del mondo.
E la fototessera, che risale appunto ad un anno fa, è terribol! Sono 7 chili fa e ho ancora la frangia e i capelli verdyverdy, la cui passione non mi è passata però.
Cmq YAY. Niente più scuola guida, niente più passaggi (spero), più indipendenza (anche se più responsabilità, panico)...e tanta soddisfazione pfff A___A
* YYEEEEYY I finally got my driving licence!!!

Yes, It tooks me almost a year.
And the signature is the most ugly in the entire world.
And the photo, that was just an year ago, is terrific! I was fatter (15 pounds ago) and I had the fringe! And green hair also, but this is only a good thing.
So YYYYEAH. More indipendence, and more responsability....panic.

Ora riprenderò con i vary disegniny, le challenge, la colorazione delle tavole horror (centoanni) e le varie altre cose che mi andranno.

Brave

Finalmente ho visto Brave!
Era da un anno che lo aspettavo, ma mano a mano che il tempo passava le mie aspettative su questo film cambiavano. E leggevo anche pareri discordanti qua e là.

* Finally I saw Brave!
I've been waiting for so long...and even if my expetation were decreased, I couldn't wait to see it.

A mio parere la Pixar non sbaglia mai. E anche con questo film si è riconfermata la leader indiscussa delle case di film d'animazione.

* In my opinion Pixar is never wrong and with Brave it  has remained a leader between other animation studios.

Certo...c'è sempre la parentesi Cars che parla di ...macchine. Ma anche quello è scritto bene, e quando sono andata a vederlo al cinema pff con mia sorella, sono uscita commossa anche quella volta! (non l'ho più rivisto e non intendo rivederlo...ma questa è un'altra cosa)

* Well...there's Cars which tells about...cars...But the story is good and when I left the cinema I was nearly crying!

Torniamo a Brave.
E' davvero un film ottimo, o almeno a me è piaciuto davvero tanto.
Dal trailer non si capiva davvero niente della storia, di dove andava a parare.
Ed effettivamente non mi aspettavo quasi nulla delle cose presenti nel film, e alla fine del primo tempo mi chiedevo dove volesse arrivare...e l'idea alla base del film la amo.
E la regia e i colori sono davvero fantastici. E alcune animazioni mi ricordano molto alcune vecchie puntate con Paperino. Chi ha guardato il film, e conosce queste puntate farà subito il collegamento pff.


* But let's talk about Brave.
It's really a good film, I like it very much.
I love the idea at the base. And the direction and the colors are amazing. Some animation remind me a pair of Donal Duck's cartoons. Who watched the film and knows these episodes, already did the connection.

Però devo ammettere che questo film ha MOLTO della disney. Chiaramente parlo della trama.
E le canzoni italiane non mi sono piaciute...è che Noemi non fa proprio impazzire.
Infatti amo la versione inglese, per ora è in loop da un paio di giorni pff.

* I have to confess that this movie has a lot of Disney "control"...and I talk about the plot.
I really liked the soundtracks and the songs. I listen to them in loop by now.

Comunque Merida è un personaggio stupendo. E' animata benissimo, ha un sacco di espressività e ha dei capelli SPETTACOLARI. Ed amo anche la sua personalità. E' tipo la mia nuova principessa preferita.
